Audemars Piguet Watches
Audemars Piguet is one of just a handful of luxury watch companies that produces and assembles its own timepieces competely in-house. This is in keeping with the ideals of its founding fathers, Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, who decided to unite their skills in order to design and produce watches with complex mechanisms. Today, Audemars Piguet deftly combines high-tech materials and state-of-the-art computer-aided design with superb old-world watch making. The result is masterpiece after masterpiece. To remain exclusive, Audemars Piguet creates only about 24,000 watches per year for worldwide distribution. These timepieces run the gamut from the futuristic Millenary Collection to high-jeweled lines to the sporty and distinctive look of the famed Royal Oak. The classic models, such as the Edward Piguet and Jules Audemars, named after the company's two founders, are also represented well. In addition, Audemars Piguet remains the oldest manufacturer of Haute Horologie (meaning 'finely crafted timepieces', but literally translated as 'High Watchmaking') never to have left the hands of its founding families.
