The fly-back function, which was created at the request of aviation pioneers, means that the chronograph can be instantly re-set to zero and restarted without pushing a stop button. Thus saving precious time : it makes it quicker to calculate time during holding patterns or to change flight paths. Pressing once the push-piece replaces the traditional sequence of operations: stop - return to zero - start.
