Small Cartier Tortue watch, tonneau-shaped 18kt white gold case set with one row of round brilliant diamonds, 18kt white gold octagonal crown decorated with a diamond, 18kt white gold bracelet, silver-white dial with black Roman numerals and blue steeled sword-shaped hands, #430 Calibre mechanical movement with manual winding, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the case front and back, water resistant to 30 meters.
Created in 1912 by Louis Cartier, the original Tortue model serves as the basis for numerous watchmaking creations in the early 20th century. Particularly elegant, from 1915, the Tortue becomes one of Cartier?s most prized models.
