”The new Classic Wave takes its inspiration from the Sport Classic watch and pays tribute to its emblematic wave design. A watershed for Ebel, the expressive wave bracelet offers flowing lines, balanced proportions and incredible comfort. Subtly, the Sport Classic has been refined to enhance its appeal and has become the Classic Wave. To achieve the artful blend of contemporary appeal and timeless value that is the Ebel signature, the brand turned to a creative team of two brothers, Renato and Marco Scarinzi. Drawing upon the ingenuity of the original integrated one-piece case and bracelet design, the Scarinzi brothers elevated it to new style heights. The fundamental goals were to lend more volume and substance to the watch while preserving its essence. This was achieved by creating a gold-and-steel version that juxtaposed the colors and finishes for emphasized appeal, and by elongating the case to give it a more powerful visual effect. Several versions of the Classic Wave now exist—each available in three sizes: mini, ladies’ or gents’. Additionally, a wide range of refined dial choices is offered. In the mini and ladies’ versions, the Classic Wave offers a host of feminine touches including diamond markers, mother-of-pearl dials and gem-set bezels.
