In 1884, Leon Breitling opened the Breitling workshop in the Jura Mountains region of Switzerland specializing in the manufacture of chronographs and precision instruments. And, ever since Gaston Breitling (Leon’s son) developed and manufactured the first Breitling chronograph watch, the company has been at the forefront of revolutionary design and innovation. Particularly known for pilots watches the brand is organized into five main collections; Navitimer, Windrider, Professional, Aeromarine, and more recently, the partnership with Bentley Motors. The Navitimer (launched in 1952) is the signature of the brand equipped with navigation aids. The Aeromarine Collection includes the Super Avenger, Avenger Skyland, Chrono Avenger, Chrono Avenger M1, Avenger Seawolf, Chrono Superocean, Superocean Steelfish, Superocean Heritage, Chrono Colt, Colt GMT, Colt Automatic, Colt Quartz, and Colt Oceane. And, the Breitling for Bentley Collection has seen the 6.75, GMT, GT, GT Racing, Mark VI, Motors, Motors T, Mulliner Tourbillion, Flying B, and Flying B No.3 in keeping with the traditions of the elite car manufacturer and this remarkable watch brand.
